Facing a double mastectomy takes courage. But Deborah Cohan didn’t look worried…  she didn’t ask for prayers or healing.  Deborah didn’t go into fear.
Right before she went into surgery to have her breasts removed Cohan, an Ob/Gyn and Mom of two busted some serious moves to Beonce’s hit “Get Me Bodied,” celebrating life itself with her medical team in the operating room of Mt. Zion Hospital in San Francisco.

Cohan requested that friends and family make videos of themselves dancing to Bey too, so that she could watch them during her recovery:

“I have visions of a healing video montage.
Nothing brings me greater joy than catalyzing others to dance, move, be in their bodies.
Are you with me people?”

We’re with you Deborah!  They shook their money makers in Southampton PA at a Psychic Party Flash Dance Fundraiser on Friday December 20th – which just happened to be Deborah’s birthday.

Featuring Psychic Carole Tollen, friends, family and a cast of thousands of angelic beings celebrating the day Deborah was born. Because she danced.
