The strangest & most beautiful book on earth.

Codex Seraphinianus

In the late 70’s Italian architect, illustrator and industrial designer Luigi Serafini made a book, an encyclopedia of  an unknown, parallel world.   About 360-380 pages,  it’s written in an unknown language, using an unknown alphabet.  It took him 30 months to complete the masterpiece that many might call  “the strangest book on earth.”  Codex Seraphinianus is divided into 11 chapters and two parts – the first one is about nature,   the second about people.  Five hundred years ago there was another book somewhat like Codex  – the Voynich Manuscript.

Words cannot describe this book, it must be felt.

  1. Thank You for sharing this Nancy. This is incredible, most definitely channeling from another dimension n if this was drug-induced, I certainly want some of that. Ha

  2. Surreal, and yes, a candidate for the “strangest.” “Beautiful?” I wouldn’t apply that word. The images you placed to the left and right of this blog page–that is beautiful, a different thing.
